Default V&H Pro Pipe (not HO)

Right now my setup as I have listed below.

2010 Street Glide
Stock head pipe
V&H TWIN SLASH 2-INTO-1 SLIP-ON
Screamin' Eagle "Ventilator" Performance Air Cleaner Kit
PC-V with FM map on it

I was going to buy the FM head pipe so I could get rid of the CAT which costs ~$420 before shipping. I started looking at the numbers if I sell my V&H TWIN SLASH (~500 miles on it) on eBay I could easily get $120+ for it. Jamie @ FM gave me a price of $509.00 + 18.99 shipping I think I can get it for $500 locally but not sure yet. If I can get it for $500 then I am getting what I think will be a better setup for no extra cash. I'm wondering if you have any opinions or suggestions? Has anyone heard this pipe yet?

I know there was just a topic on the High Output item from V&H but that is different. I know that there are about a million posts about exhaust here but this is a new pipe from V&H and my searching didn't find any other threads talking about it.

Thanks!

Was there anything wrong with the way the Twin Slash performed? I just ordered it for my 2010 SG. Wasn't looking for loud, just an increase in that 'Harley' sound. Can you comment on that.

Then honestly I've got the right pipe for you. I like the sound and look I'm just looking for a little more go so I want to get rid of the cat. I'll try to get a movie of the pipe so you can hear it.

The new Propipe looks better, in my opinion, than the old one. Anyone's guess on performance at this point but I'd bet it would be pretty decent.

I'm interested to see how that new Pro Pipe Chrome performs. I see it has stepped header pipes now and that could be a plus. It has heat shields unlike the High Output. I have always liked V&H quality. I'd just like to see how it stacks up next to the D&D and Supertrapp performance wise.

i have the new vance & hines 2 into 1 pro pipe, and could not be happier. the primary tubes are long so that promotes great low end torque, the sound is awesome, although stereo friendly, borderline though. when you get on it, she howls. i did this while doing the 103" kit with the 10.5 pop up high compression ration pistons along with the 259 e cams which have .579" lift. i'm sure the motor effects the sound of the pipe of course, but i'm very impressed with the way the new vance & hines pro pipe works. i was trying to decide between the fatcat, thunderheader and the v&h pro pipe. the pro pipe is perfect for my build. the fit, finish, and quality of the product is top notch too.

Excellent this is what I was hoping. I'll list my slip-on on eBay and then order the Pro Pipe. Sucks I have to go back to the stock pipe again but at least I have something to look forward to.

Well I put it up... Hopefully I can get what I need and get the new one ordered. Until then I'm back to the sewing machine!
