Default Need help ASAP! Drive Belt.

Here's the deal. I work at a Honda shop in Tillamook, OR and a 2000 Electra Glide snapped a drive belt yesterday. We got the belt, gaskets, and supposedly all the parts necessary to replace the belt. However, we are a Honda shop and not a Harley dealership so we do not have the repai manuals to do this job. We had the Harley shop fax over the pages for the repair, but we are having a hard time figuring this out. If anyone on here can help us out, that would be great. The people are heading back to Vancouer, BC from a 3 week trip through the states, so we are trying hard to get these people back on the road. What I am looking for is a detailed and step-by-step instructions for getting this belt replaced. Pictures would be great and any other info you can give us would be great. Thanks in advance for any and all help. You can reply to this message or send replyies and links to my e-mail at bteune@wou.edu. Thank you.

hpot

have a look at this link:
Belt install with pics

With the pages you have from the manual and this link with 9 pages of detailed instructions with pictures I think you'll be able to get it done. There is a good bit of work to changing the belt.

Hopefully this will help out and you can get them back on the road.
