Default Klockwerks Windshield Help

I have installed a Klockwerks windshield on my RG. I know its the right one but it almost doesnt fit. I got all of the windshield screws in but have found that one popped out. Any ideas.

did you leave the rubber strip off? KLock says to leave it off. My bike is new so the rubber push-ins are new. I have been told once you take them on and off a few times they are junk. They loose the ability to expand all the way.

the well nuts don't hold up well, there are some aftermarket improvements on ebay as well as Cee Bailey or Clearview. I just bought a handfull of wellnuts and replace them as needed. No big worries really.
