If I were in your situation, I would contact T-Man, Headquarters, or Hillside, and have them bore your jugs and do your head-work, and ask them what pistons to use, and also what cam [ I have Wood's cams ] but you don't build an engine around a cam. call them, you won't be disappointed. Jim.

I have Kuryakyn TC26G cams with the 10.5 to 1 pistons and heads, with a 45mm Makuni carb I get 108lbs torque and 115 hp. It has all the power in the right places to push my 01 FLHTC. With a DD6 tranny it has power to burn at 2600 rpm on.

Good advice here. All reputable builders. Very happy with the job Scott at Hillside did for me. Dont think youll find anyone else who has been using the woods cams as long as the palmer brothers.
