It was the "other" bike week that ruined it

So MB looses out from the good guys

 

I don't remember it being called "other" bike week.
It was black bike week, and yes, they ruined it for everyone.
Political correctness is killing this country. Let's call a duck a duck, point out the elephant in the room, and give credit or blame where it is due.

 

Thunderbeach is a great rally, anyone check out some of the newspapers in MB. City is crying because they have no tax revenue. LOL the are getting what the asked for.

 

We were there last year. We had a free place to stay so we stopped by there for a few days on our way to FL. It was dead and a waste of time. We stayed out of the MB city limits on the bikes and didn't spend $.01 inside the city limits.

IMHO don't waist your time find another town/rally that is more inviting to it's guests.

 

Both rallies Dura Glide mentions are excellent. WV has some awsome M/C riding.
this year Charlie Daniels Band and CCR are scheduled to appear at mountainfest.

 

MB can kiss my @ss. Never again and I don't give a sh*t if this hurts North or South Myrtle. The whole region is scratched off my list of destinations, period.
Anyway, regardless of the anti-biker stuff, I was getting tired of going there cause honestly it was more Beer Week than Bike Week.
I wanna ride, damnit! Smoky Mountains, here I come!

 

Just don't do it!!!! You'll most likely could do better doing a trip somewhere else for a lot less.... The venue really sucked and all I could think about was how long the trip was for me to get there and have such a horrible time. I met up with some other friends but it didn't make any difference to me. As a whole it wasn't worth it.

 

I think by now you have figured it out.
Dont waste your time. They peed in their Cheerios and now wonder why the sour taste.

 

Will definitely pass on it. We'll do some Tenn, Ky and WV riding instead.
