Default +2 sweepers and heat demons no go

The inside diameter of the new Khrome Werks +2 Sweeper handlebars doesn't allow adding the Heat Demons with the TBW. Does anyone know how to ream out the bars for extra room? Please help because these bars are very comfortable and the Heat Demon hardware looks very well made.
P.S. I'd rather have no heaters, than Harley ones that burn out in months.

How much is it off, a few thousandths I hope? is it close enough where you can heat the bar a bit? Actually, not sure if thats a good idea for the TBW unit.

More than a few thousanths. The instructions say internal diameter must be 7/8" and that some bars, such as the new Cvo will not fit. They suggest taking them to a machine shop to be reamed out. I'd rather do it myself if possible. Until the bars are in hand the fit determination is impossible.

If you haven't installed the bars yet, taking it to a machine shop is your best bet. If already installed, you might be able to hone them out with a brake cylinder hone on a drill if it's not too far off.

The machine shop sounds like your best bet

Just took it over to the guy that's done some gun projects for me. The only thing he said is the bar will be kind of thin. This shouldn't be a problem because a stock bar would be the same thickness and those work w/o reaming.

Did you get it done? I am struggling with the same thing. About to just install the bars without the heaters, because no machine shop wants to mess with it locally and I can't find a bit long enough to do the job...

I'd be more than a little concerned with weakening the bars.

This concerned me also, but Heat Demons instructions stated that they should fit HD bars with TBW. This means that stock HD bars are the same thickness as reamed Khrome Werks +2 Sweepers. I just got the bars back from the machinist. Everything fits, though very snuggly. I'm going to spend the next couple of nights manually polishing the inside of the bar to try to bring the fit to my satisfaction.

What did the machinist charge if you don't mind me asking...
