HOG Tow
I agree with the HOG "free tow". Once broke down in te desert of NM without my HOG atlas. Called the HOG number and was told I could get a free tow back to a town I just passed through which was ten miles back. I told them that town had a post office a convenience store/gas pump. They would not tow me 40 miles to Farmington. Had to hide ghe bike behind a bunch of rocks and get a ride into Farmington, only to find their Harley Dealership had closed 10-15 minutes before. The HOG folks did not tell me that there was a HD in Farmington. Only said I could not use my tow to that town. The HD was very nice the next day and went out to get my bike (all parts still on it and there, too.) No charge for the pick-up.
Since then I have upgraded to the delux package and have used it in Canada for a long pick-up due to a flat tire. Ditch the standard HOG towing pacckage.

Cell phone with Dealer # in Speed dial, second speed dial for insurance hot line (if you have towing) cause it is Sunday and the dealer is closed.
Now for the important stuff:
1. Large bottle of Bourbon
1. Small bottle of water
2. cups
3. latest edition of favorite magazine? <- dealer might say "be right there, but they LIE!)
.... How may riders does it take to fix a harley on the side of the road? the answer is 2. One to call the dealer and one to mix the drinks!!!
Actually, I would like to know what tools most people carry. I have an 09 road king and don't think it came with a tool kit.

I have always been a packrat so fill every little space with stuff. I recently picked up some cool little tool bags that work great. http://www.storagepouches.com/photogallery.html
I thought I would pickup a little bit of space but was surprised at how much difference they really did make. Now I can squral away even more stuff.
