Default Sundowner Fender Rub Help

So I have replaced my stock seat with a C&C Sport Tour AND I picked-up a Sundowner from a fellow HDForums guy.

Issue is that I have heard about the Sundowner having a couple of friction points that will rub some nasty spots into the fender. I see there are two stubs that project and am wondering if any of you have had this issue and if so, any fixes?

The obvious ting to me would be to get some high-density closed cell foam and just make extra cushion for those spots...but not sure.

Thanks!

Could try and put the clear fender seat protection tape on it.

Or friggen electrical tape if in a jam!

Yeah the sundowner will ruin your fender in short order.
Passenger seat area right around the outside perimeter is where it rubs.

Sundowner skuffed my fender also the 2 screws you see if you turn it over that hold the back tab on can gouge the paint, replaced mine with a lower head screws. Bad enough I have to run a full bib with a solo

Sundowner also scuffed my side panels. Watch out for these too.

Put a used Sundowner on my 2009 SERG3. Kept it on for 3,000 miles. Didn't have any rubbing issues. Also didn't have BSR on very much - mostly my 14 year old daughter for short rides. Changed to Corbin Classic Solo Close I got off Ebay - no marks anywhere. Also have not removed the clear plastic on fender from factory.
