Nearing the end on DIY tire changing
I put a new rear tire on the EG yesterday. I've been doing this for 50 years on all manner of bikes. It hurts to admit it, but the end is near. The arthritis in my hips and shoulders is taking its toll. It sure was a lot easier on Cushman scooters with the little wheels and split rims.

You really don't need the motorcycle adapter, Its another $49.
There are some other bars and clamp pads that make the job even easier (still using the HF changer) about another $100
Google Search for NOMAR or MOJO LEVER you will find lots of hits/reviews.
Also search Marc Parnes for wheel balancers, that seems to be the one everyone compares the others to.

I just changed the rear tire on my '99 RK this weekend also. Took me almost 5 days...
But, I did build my own tire changer and fabbed my own tire tools. Also included a tire ballancer in the frame below the mounting surface. Works ok, I just need to fab up one of those no-mar mount/demount bars to make it much easier on the ol' bod. Next tire swap will be MUCH quicker!
Quick pic taken just a moment ago. Look beyond the cluttered up shop...
