Changing Frt Mount
#11
I've changed mine, I had an oilcooler & had to remove that also, it's not a tough job, I read all the stuff in the manual about alignment but mine seemed to fall right back into place so i just left it alone & it rides good, no hands for as long as want. Didn't mean to jump on you about the manual, just seamed to be pretty well explained in the manual, but I did remember all the sh#t about the alignment & it not being needed a lot of times. Never hurts to ask about somebody who's already done a job you're looking to do, the manual is great, but there are a lot of short cuts that the manual doesn't tell you about, you shouldn't have any trouble with it.

Did mine yesterday used a Sta-Bo motor mount he has a new one not listed on his website and its great looks like glide pros and Velva rides (urethan)not to stiff nice mount and only $60 bucks. First remove the voltage regulator. Then losen all bolt on the factory motor mount removing nutts from under side. then jack engine up with a sisor jsck or what ever you have then i removed all the bolts. I then loosened the bolts holding the engine mount bracket. just loosen them this gives it enough play to slide out and just put it all back together I belive the torque spaec is 40 ftlb there are some good videos online. Glide pro I think
