Thunderslide in stock carb

Upgrade to a 42mm Mikuni

Also, you can change your ICM (Ignition Control Module) to a Crane, Daytona Twin-Tec, Screaming Eagle...and I'm sure there are others. You can retard/advance timing and change the rev limiter with an adjustable ICM.

The module on carb'd bikes is known as an ICM.
On fuel-injected bikes it's an ECM.

You will do just fine around here. Some folks are very sensitive to the ribbing that goes on here. I see you are not one of them. There is plenty to read here and plenty to learn. Enjoy your scooter.
