Would you blame me? Horrordavidson 2 Wing

I have a 2007 Ultra. I've had 2 problems with it. One, the front motor mount was replaced under warranty. Two, the idle was eratic and the
and throwing no codes. The dealership never found the problem after replacing some sensors. Bike went out of warranty and I just let it go
as it was the only thing wrong with the bike and I could live with it.
Last week, I asked for some assistance on this forum for ideas. Got a number of good ones. One fixed the problem that the dealership never
could fix. So...that tells you something there. Not all dealerships and techs are equal. If one isn't working for you, try another. But in your case, I might call the MOCO and talk with them and the dealer about the many problems and see what can be worked out.

is multiple bikes an option?
Ok, ive solved it. Keep the Harley and get a BMW F800GS!!! thats my next bike. never hurts to have a second, plus have you seen how much fun those adventure bikes are!! Whenever the hog is in the shop you still have another bike to ride. Find one of those adventure rider forums and read up. But yes, i would be frustrated after you regularly ride yours and continue to have troubles. Sounds like its time to sit down and have a talk with the service manager. Anyways, dont forget to check out beemer....shameless plug.

So, as I understand your three posts on this subject, the bike is throwing codes... has the bike broke down or left you stranded somewhere?
I have a passenger vehicle that throws codes out, and while it annoys me, the vehicle runs perfect, so I haven't taken it in. (Sensitive oil sender; tells me to check oil level and then shows a 'malfunction' for each time the oil level warning came on. Annoying, but I know that the oil level is perfect, and the sender is no longer under warranty.) No way would I get rid of the vehicle just from throwing codes. Wish you would post more specific information, and the remedies so far, per the RO's.
As far as to your original question, if you want a Goldwing, buy a Goldwing. I've had three over the years and they're nice bikes; just different than a Harley.

c50plus, I've owned Harley's for over 25 years, they make a good product, I wonder if you have something going on electrical that they haven't figured out yet, with all these bikes now days having a computer brain that would be my guess, problems you are describing could be caused by this, if it continues I would contact Harley and ask for assistance, I had a bike once that was acting crazy and shutting down, would sit for a while then run again, found out I had a fuse that the plastic had cracked on but the fuse didn't blow, it was arcing out which made the brain think the bike was running hot and would shut it down, it was a twenty cent fuse, can't blame harley for that, $500 fuse change later (took the dealer a week to figure this out) never had another problem and it's been 8 years

Some people here do not know how to read. I said clearly I ride a lot , 1500 miles a month. It is not the freaking dealer. They have fixed all the problems and they wer different. I am also **** in doing my maintenance. I am an engineer and I have designed advanced elctronics for the military and space ships. Lets see how many of you can say I have no isses when you start riding 20K miles a year. I do not want a fraking goldwing I love everything about my harley except the quality. But if this crap continues I'll have no chice but to cook so rice....What good is the Harley soul if it is in the shop often???
Have you checked to make sure your battery terminals are tight? These things do vibrate and a bolt screwed into soft lead CAN become loose causing your battery code!
Details man, they help a ton for diagnosis!
