Hey Butcher - Maybe it should be "Black Bart" as it's a very manly bike!

Actually my old dirt bike pics from 1976. Yaffe's just smarter and faster than we are! Ya think he and Roland go at when we're not looking! ;-)

Ok, a few more and I'm done burning the thread!

Thanks for all the kind comments. Coming from people on this Forum, it's a genuine compliment. Cool!

(Leo, that's all yours brother! I just dig the song, while yours is THE Betty, mine is an unintentional compliment. And until I can get my faded brain to remember who sang that damn song, it remains a brain worm. Yikes!)

Hell, I like your version better! My luck it would be connected to the Simpsons and that reference would take a sudden left turn. Anything to get that song out of my head, so she can get a real name instead of a last minute oops name! Hell, I like the Forum throwing a name out there, could be fun, or at least funny!

Fortunately, the bike is basically done because I've sold much of my old junk and funds will soon start to dry out a bit. Less wrenching, more riding!!

Butcher, ...... Great looking ride !

What is the vintage on the 'square' tour pak ? Looks like a 'shovel-esque' decal on the lid & those twin rails along the bottom.

Leo YOU ROCK!! Thank you so much for that. I can finally get that out of my head and move forward. Funny thing, our radio stations here are so lame that even though I couldn't remember the correct band name, the radio guy in the wee hours one night said it was the Allman(sic?) Brothers and even "I" knew that didn't sound close. But, I couldn't remember who actually did. That's why your the original!

BTW, thanks for the kind words on the bike.

Great looking ride. Reminds me, I have to pull some parts off tonight before I hit the powder coaters tomorrow.
