Default High pitch whistle or whine at speeds?

Just wonder in anyone has heard of this. I can hear a high pitch whine or whistle, not a brake dust squeak, coming from the left front of the bike when i get above 30 miles per hour. its annoying as hell and gets distracting. I've tried pulling in the clutch to see of its motor related and its not. it does not change with rpm.

I don't think its wind noise cuz it doesn't change with gusts. any more ideas?

my 2002 xl1200s had a noise like that from the front brakes "floating". Does the noise stop when applying slight brake pressure?

I'll have to try and apply slight brake pressure. Now that I think about Im not sure if it happens when I'm slowing down.
