tangeloglide,

I have an Ultra and just put on the new 8.5" shield for the batwing farring. I tried the 6.5" version last summer and found I got hit with too much raod debris. I love the 8.5" version. I am 5'9" and my bike is lowered.

I am 5'6" riding an '07 FLTR. Is this shield for the Road Glide or Street Glide?

If it is for Road Glide, I am very interested in buying it from you.
Found this pic. I know I have more but can't locate them right now. Hope this works.

Klock werks 12" are only available in one tint, also available in clear, so if you want tint he's got the one you want.

I put the Klockwerks 8 inch on my SG and LOVE IT. Everyone knows the stocks shield are too short. I am 6 foot asnd this size is perfect for me. It actually does exactly what they say it does. Ball cap no problem, glasses no fluttering. Looks bad *** too

We battle this everyday at the shop. They did change the shape on the roadglide windshields slightly last summer. Not sure if it helps much, but if you have an early one, a newer one may be better. Klockwerks is one of the best companies in the industry to deal with and they want you to be happy. They sent us a few windshields for our customers to try before they buy, after logging some of the same complaints I see posted on here. We let our customers use our demo windshields for two weeks. The 12" is avail. in clear, dark smoke, and tinted. Seems they fit some people perfectly and others not so much..... Find a reputable shop that cares about their customers, they may have one for you to try before you dump$170.00.

You are correct. Customizing a '10 RG at the shop and it has a dark smoke shield on it. What I forgot was that we started with a 12" tint, and swapped it out for a 8" dark smoke. My bad. Had to go back and look at my pics to realize mistake.
