Default J&M 7.25" Black or Chrome

I think I am going to buy the J&M 7.25" speakers for my 09 Street Glide, with stock guages (and no painted inner fairing). Any thoughts on whether the black or chrome look better? Thanks.

I went with the chrome, I have a painted fairing. Regardless of which you choose the improvement of sound over stock is so great you can't go wrong! Safe riding!

The differences are subtle IMHO. I prefer the chrome but that's just me. Really comes down to personal preference. Different strokes for different folks.

I chose the black since I think I've got too much chrome on my bike already, just a personal choice.I just got new set of primary and points covers in black and chrome to tone all the shinny down a bit. Just don't care for for chrome plated plastic on top of that.

I had the chrome ones on my 09 Street Glide and swapped them out for a set of the black. The black ones look much nicer in my opinion.

Most people that see both in person usually end up going with the black.

I like the chrome just because I think it flows with the trim rings on the gauges..

Chucky, here's a pic of Shawn's bike with the black ones. Not the best pic, but it will do. Drew
