I had an 07 Fat Boy and made the mistake (or good fortune) of riding a Road King during my local shops demo day. It only took about a mile down the road to realize I was going to trade for some sort of a Toruing bike.

Congrats on your Fugly! Any touring bike would be a different ride though. I do have to admit, that shark nose is starting to grow on me!

Congats,If I am ever to trade off my SG I will be purchasinf a RG or if m wife ever decides to start riding by herself.I think the shark design far excedes all other Harley designs.

Love my Road Glide. You may need to put some thought in the handlebar/windshield situation to get it just right.

I moved up from an 03 Sporter to a 09 RoadGlide. I took some work with the Ride Like a Pro video to get my turns near what I could do on my Sporty. Now you have plenty of room and a smooth ride with cruise control. No excuse not to ride all day long.
