Default 2008 Roadglide - removed and replaced Fuel Tank and now won't start

New to this forum...so thanks in advance. I have an 08 Roadglide and did some wiring through the channel under the gas tank. I removed the tank (pain) and reinstalled and now bike won't start.

Obviously I did something wrong, or didn't do something I was supposed to do. One thing I noticed as I was unscrewing the bolt under the gas tank and rubber hose connected inside was twisting. I believe this is now untwisted but don't have a clue where to start.

Trying to avoid a trip to HD Service. ANy help would be GREATLY appreciated.

OK, So I didn't use handy dandy quick disconnect...I actually unscrewed from tank. If I twisted and fixed rubber hose inside of tank what else could this be?

You disconnected the high pressure line INSIDE the tank. You may have even broken the line by twisting it loose.

That means you have to remove the guts of the tank and restore this connection, if removing the tank was a pain for you, ya might want to think about taking it to the dealer to get it fixed.

Sparky: I never disconnected fuel line (I did disconnect and reconnect overflow line), fuse, or any harness. A friend basically held the tank to the side why I put the wires in the track below the tank.

SOOS: Yep, have a half tank in her. (lol). Where is the kill switch?

HOG-DOC: I hope you aren't correct. The rubber hose twisted and then untwisted. It does look a little smaller at the base then going higher. I don't think it broke.

LP: You are probably right...just can't afford right now.

I thought it must be some kind of fuse or switch...

I appreciate all the help!! Please keep the ideas coming. Tomorrow morning is dedicated to getting my bike running. Was 65 degrees today and I missed it..supposed to have snow again on Saturday. I blew it.

SOOS: If you are talking about the Run/Stop switch on the right it is on RUN. The motor turns over just doesn't start.

What in the world could it be. She turns over, fuel injectors seem to hum when kill switch on run...could it be some other connection? Electrical something? Is there a way to reset the system?

By the way, the tuge in the tank does have gas in it....now if it actually pulling gas into the injectors, I don't know. Is there a way to check for this?

I guess I can just rip off the f-ing tank off again and look inside to see if I tore up that hose...just wondering if it could, by chance, be something easy for the first time in my life.

Thanks for all the help.
