I read the widow lawsuit thread. It does not say how the throttle failed.
My UC 08 throttle failed twice on the hwy with my wife behind me because of the fly-by-wire throttle design. Lost power and entered limp mode( about 5 mph). Dealer said a connector corroded and the computer got conflicting information from the two sensors
in the throttle.

We are alive because I am a very experienced driver and I immediately recognize
what I had to do and also the traffic around me was light.

The dealer mechanic said he has seen this problem at around 25K miles.
