Dakota Digital Gauges question

Dakota Digital Gauges question
I have thought about getting a set of Dakota Digital gauges for a long time but they were just too expensive. I found a reasonable price by reading this forum :-) and ordered them.
I am waiting for them to arrive and have read the instructions. Looks like it is pretty straight forward. My question is more about using the gauges themselves. I have ridden bikes for a long time and have never had digital gauges. Always watched the needles. Was it difficult to get used to the digital gauges? How do you like them now? Any regrets? Favorite features?Pros and Cons welcome.

Depending on what gauge you got, some of them can be programed to alert you when, for example, the oil pressure drops.
I only know a few people with them but I've only heard good things. Personally, I don't think I would like digital because I love seeing the tach and speedometer needles move when I'm getting on it but that's just me. My husband, on the other hand, loves all things digital.

The Dakota Digital gauges are much easier to read in bright sunlight, and automatically dim at dusk. The TAC RPM display is adjustable, and the oil temp and voltmeter gauges can be set to warn for excessive oil temperature or drop or spike in amperage. There is also a gear indicator in the TAC. I just sent my TAC back to Dakota to upgrade the software to accomodate the 7th gear of my Baker DD7. Expensive---yes, functional---absolutely!
