Default Chrome Inner Fairing Trim Kit

For those of you that have installed this kit, how are you attaching the chrome trim? Are you using the double sided tape that comes in the kit or something else? The double sided tape doesn't seem like it would last very long. I was thinking maybe some type of automotive adhesive or silicone but wasn't sure what to get. Any help would be appreciated.

The supplied tape worked for me. It is a PIA to get it on with that tape but everything is on there good and tight.

Ditto on the tape. It IS a PITA to attach, but it works well and stays attached.

Tape provided works great but its a PITA at times to install but holds really well. Only lost one in about 9 years on different bikes.

Yelp, same here. The tape works well on the larger rings, but I lost a couple of the small rings before I started using a few dabs of silicone.

Only silicone as it is an adhesive and have had no problems.
