Default hey, what do you stick here???

ok so i've got a 2009 standard road king, but i would assume that all 2009-2010 tourers have this.(checked my father's 2005 and it ain't there) While giving the bike its first wash of the season, i removed right side panel and VOILA. There's this big empty rack that one could mistake for a battery case. In fact it's about half the size of a battery. So what goes here? Maybe there is something here on the bigger fancier touring models?

That is where your ABS unit would be if you had ABS.

Hear a rumor that the 2011 are going to have an 8 track player. Maybe that is where you can store your 8 tracks?

I use mine for the compressor of my air horn.

Default I wish you hadn't brought this up

I was hoping to use it as a stash compartment for crossing the border.

No to hijack - but there are certain albums I have on CD or MP3 which I listen to today - *still* expect to hear the damn 8 track switch mid or in between certain songs! I started driving in the late 70's and had a big ole Buick with an 8 track. Fond memories of the *click* (and gas at 67 cents a gallon).
