so i got a big paint road rash on my fairing now and i need to cover it up. long story short an a$$hole slammed on his brakes for a quick right turn and it was either t bone him or slam on the breaks and lay it down. i walked away no scrapes because of the leathers, which are jacked up brand new helmet did it's job well and doc martins took it like a champ the really good news is i think the only bad things to happen to the bike are the engine guard is bent to **** one highway peg clamp(the peg was good) almost sheered off. lastly the fairing has a nice black oval in the bottom part of the two tone green and silver. I think a paint job wouldn't be too bad because it's just one color that's affected so i think if someone got a hold of the bottom green from the moco and a little sanding it should be all good. until then the fairing bra should help nicely. i fell off and I want to get back on the horse.
back to the original post they make them for '96 and up and i got 5 bolts in the wind shield and not three i don't mind customizing. i know someone out there has a pre '96 with a fairing bra how'd ya do it
