Default Ipod Holster Review

Hello All,

Anyone use or see this product before?

Gunslinger Ipod Holster

I found them on youtube after searching for videos on how to mount an ipod on a motorcycle.

after checking out the photos on their website Im worried the portable mount would slide around the handlebars over time.

Has anyone used this mount before?

or check out the website

I have an iPhone and use it to play music every time I ride. I use the RAM mount and it works great. The iPhone is very easy to see and it does not move.

Those mounts look like they could move around. Maybe for an iPod Shuffle which is so small it wouldn't matter but I am not doing that will my $400 iPhone.

Thumbs up

I have one. It works pretty good. I have the clip on one on my RKC. Stays where it's supposed to. I had to modify the mount a little with some velcro strips to hold my ipod it place. But it holds on even at 100mph. I chose the clip on one so I can just pull the holder and the ipod off at the same time.

I use a RAM mount and a waterproof Otterbox made specifically for my Ipod model. Otterbox makes different size cases for the various Ipods, Iphones, etc. The combination of the RAM mount and waterproof case allows me to mount it on my handlebar for easy access and I don't have to worry about my Ipod getting wet.

I haven't used that model but I have the Boom iPod/iPhone case from Harley that has a magnetic backing to go on your tank. Took it on a 2-hr ride when I first got it...everything was going fine until I turned to look for traffic, must have pulled the wire, and it went flying....

The good news is that I was able to go back and find it and it still worked like a charm!! So if nothing else the protection of the case is good.
