Ride Report: Ricor Intiminators
#21
I installed the Intiminators in my Night Train recently and I got one cap on but couldn't get the other one. After an hour I gave up and took it down to the local Indy where he put it on in one minute with their front end jig. Didn't charge me anything either.
If I do this again for myself or others; I'll just put the Intiminators and oil in them then cap 'em and take them down for the springs to be installed. It would be worth the $10 they would likely charge to do it for you.

oil for intiminator
Good day
When installing the intiminator, would like to know
did you have the same amount of oil to get air gap recommended by Brian
on mine i put 11oz on the left and 9oz on the right, it's for a flhr 2008 Brian recommend 6'' air gap, the tube was removed and drained well before, i fell something goes wrong.
thank you

Just bought the Ricor Intiminators and rear shocks (12.0") with Sport Tune.
Pretty stoked about this purchase. I was looking at the Bitubo rears and Traxxon cartridges but couldn't get myself to pull the trigger given the cost. This sounds like it will be the best bang for the buck from all I've read on the forum.
Looking forward to addressing the sloppy front end. The diving when braking is annoying as hell.
Need to drop the front 1.0 inch. What do ya'll recommend in conjunction with the Intiminators??

I recommend not dropping the front end an inch. You'll be giving up a whole inch of suspension travel. The stock suspension on a Harley is bad enough as it is...you don't need to intentionally make it worse.
