Default Front fork air baffle

Anyone try one of these on a 2010 road glide custom ? Would like to cut down on wind buffeting / noise. Just put the 12'' Windsplitter windshield on but see that it is only a little over 9'' above the gauges so that isn't going to be much help seeing i'm 5'11''

Yea, I put one on my 2010 Glide (only because a friend gave me one) and it didn't do zip in cutting down the wind. Don't waste your money.

I also put on a 12" Windvest today. It measure 12" from the bottom of the shield to the top and 11 3/4 from the top of the speedo/tack to the top of the shield. I'm 6' and I love it. I Can see over it and the wind is about 2" above my head. The top of the shield is level with my mouth.
It has a pretty agressive recurve that goes all the way across the top of the shield. http://www.windvest.com/products/products.html

I've heard it doesn't make much of a difference with a six gallon gas tank and I would have to agree, but I am leaving it on anyway. I also installed vented lowers and a 16" KW tinted flare windshield.

i noticed a difference on my 08 streetglide with reducing the air coming in between the batwing and tank. they used to come standard on roadglides until i think 2010, when they did away with them. it does seem, to me, to stop much of the wind that jiggles your glasses.

I just added one to my 2007 Ultra a few weeks ago. I haven't had a chance to ride it much since then but I feel it cuts down on some of the turbulence coming from under the batwing. I have the 8.5" Windvest with the recurve tip and I'm 5' 10". I look right over the top of it and get some buffetting on the top of my helmet, but not all the time. I like the height of the shield so I'll probably try a smaller helmet without a visor.

I put one on my ElectraGlide Classic and it made a very slight difference... the Chrome side air deflectors made more difference to me.

On a Road Glide it does zip like others have said.
Get a windvest 12" shield and factory/aftermarket lowers.

Default Hd windsplitter 12''

I just got one of those and put it on my 2010 RGC. Haven't got to try it but it is only 9.25 above the speedo so i guess that was a bad purchase for me at 5'11''. Well ' didn't do my research. I really just would like to hear my radio above 30 mph without blaring it. I put those 7.25 J&Ms in and that stock windshield still drowns them out unless you crank it way up.

Does either come with a painted lower area to hide the mounting area?
