Just completed the cam plate upgrade to my 06 E-Glide. Was worried about the shoes after reading and hearing horror stories. I was pleased to find almost no wear (less than 1/32) on the shoes after 33,000 miles. Dropped a few coins for the upgrade but now I have the peace of mind not worring about the shoe wear. On a side note: have always ran fossil oil from the start. My mechanic was very surprised at the low wear.
