I picked up my new Road King Classic in March. I am thinking of putting on some Ape Hangers, but I dont know how tall to go. If anyone has some pics with Ape Hangers on their Bikes I would like to see some various sizes. I seen a Road King the other day with 21" Ape Hangers, I dont want to go that tall. Iam thinking about 13" or 16".

 

i thought the road king high handle bars from hd would be enough, but i am still wanting more. i know exactly how you feel. what i am looking for, ideally, would be to put my hands somewhere close to shoulder level. i too would like to see some pics of a few rk's with some mild apes, so i will be watching for some pics in this post.

 

One of my good friend has a RK with at least 19" apes. It looks great and he loves it. Maybe I should put some on my Roadglide

I just ordered 16s with internal wiring and all braided lines for my Fatboy with the low profile corbin Fastgunfighter seat. Any higher than 16s I would be reaching for the sky being that I am just under five eight.
