Default Let a friend ride my bike... Ooops!!!

I let a friend ride my bike today, he clipped a solid object (car) and destroyed my right saddlebag. Now I need to replace my right bag assembly. My 07 FLHX is cobalt blue. Can you order a saddlebag painted from the factory and how do you find the part number.

Ouch! Hope nobody got hurt. Some things never change......1st concern is the paint. 16 years ago, I did a high side and as I was being thrown from the bike, my thoughts were "s**t, there goes the paint job!"

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully your friend will buy you a new bag. What did it do to the car?

Yes, you can order a single saddlebag; iit will probably be ordered as a separate lid, bottom, latch, in your color. Any HD store can order it for you; the parts guy just needs to look up the p/n's in the Painted Parts Book that is organized by year, model, and colors for all of the painted parts. It's used to order replacement painted parts. Since '07, the Book is actually a computer database on HD's intranet.

Sorry to hear of your troubles; a bummer for sure.
