Isn't it funny that many times - those that you trust enough to let ride your bike, have too much common sense to take you up on it?

I guess that pretty much tells the story!

I am soooo tempted to carry over the joke from the other day about a guys wife dumping his bike.. But I think only I would think it was funny if I asked about your friends back door...

I'll only let someone ride it if they have something of equal or greater value to replace it with while THEY pay for repairs. That being said, I still gotta know them REAL good.

I'd never ask a friend to ride his bike, but I've got a good friend I consider a brother. He's let me ride his bikes, and vice versa. I let my real brothers ride my bike, too, if they want. (and no, I don't consider it analagous to lending my OL)

It's about respect. Do you respect me and my things? Are you good for it if something happens? Can you handle a big bike? If I know the answers to those questions are yes, then I don't have a problem with it.

Call me an Ahole but the last time I let someone borrow my car that was the last time I ever seen it in one piece. So the only time anyone gets on my bike is over my cold dead body
