Wild 1 517s on a 2010 Roadie - It Works!
The W1 517 bards are a great answer to the stock Road Glide hunchback bars. The do require some modification to accommodate the length of the TBW switch. If you cut away some of the dimple for internal wiring, it'll all go together with no reduced structural integrity on the bars. These bars give me a nice bend in the arms and put the hands in a really comfortable position. There is also more real estate for GPS, iPods, etc. All the stock cables fit, too.
No, I don't have pics. Jud Cowley in Sasche, TX (near Dallas) did the work for me and he figured it all out. He also ran all the wires internally for me and really cleaned up the look. Great guy. Great work. Excellent prices.

HUH?
What did "Jud" figure out?
What kind of bar mods are you talking about?
I installed the same bar on my '09 RG.
I shoved the wires through the bar, they came out the middle.
I didn't have to mod anything.
I am taking them off, though.
If anyone wants a set of these bars powdercoated GLOSS black, shoot me a PM.
I'll make you a helluva deal!
