Well, I talked to Firecap today (great guy, FYI) for quite a while on the phone. He's recommending the JVC KD R900 head unit, and I asked him about Hertz speakers. I'm adding 4" to the speedo/tach holes and most likely 6.5" to the speakers holes. Anyone using the combo, or either/or of the two?

I am narrowing down my audio choices, and I'd like to hear from anyone using any variation of these products and their likes/dislikes.

Johnny I own a shop and we do a fair amoumt of high end stereo stuff and I have spoken to Firecap501. In my opinion, Id trust his judgement, he spends a lot of time on R&D and demos a lot of equipment. My opinion, why re-invent a wheel that is all ready built. Besides in another six months, there will be something bigger and better.

 

Thanks bigdog. Until 2 days ago I'd never even heard of Hertz speakers, so I wanted to know what people thought of them. I've read so many posts about JM and Hawgwired, but not much on the Hertz. The head unit looks like a winner, and Wayne gave it good praise.
