I am going to take a guess that this was a windshield purchased over the internet. The reason I say this is that most local retail stores would be more willing to help and that he could have inspected his purchase before actually layin the cash down. This is exactly why I never purchase over the net. you would be surprised how much better actual businesses are at dealer with customers than mail order or internet shops and they usually aren't any more expensive

 

I want "Sears" to make windshields under the name "Craftsman"... you know how many of those I've taken back over the years..."no questions asked". Well OK, it's been a few years... they still honor that? LOL!!

 

Just talked to the company I bought the shield from and they say they will credit my credit card for the shield I returned. Said they are reworking the tooling for the shield and would replace the shield or return my money. Relieved to see they are a stand up company as I've read about in this forum.

 

You have to know the return policy before you buy something,always best to get in writing.This is impotant for those that can't hang with what ever comes up.
