Had them on a previous bike with big shot staggards. Knocks the noise down at idle and cruise. Still pretty loud when you gas it. On a relatively stock motor there is no loss in power, maybe pick up a little torque.

nvsteve.....did the baffles give the pipes a deeper tone? I have oval slip ons and wish they were a little less raspy..

I had them on my last bike (Superglide w/ Big shot Staggered)

My wife has them on hers now (Heritage w V&H true duals)

They drop the volume a little, not a really large difference.

They do make the sound deeper and more mellow. That is why I used them, not for the volume, but the sound.

Both our pipes would still bark plenty under throttle.

Used the QB in the Big Shot Duals on my 07 RK Custom. Went from the standard baffle to QB and liked it better. They were still kinda loud but took the raspy sound out and lowered the tone some. Didn't notice any power loss - barked when you got on the throttle.

I had them in my Straight Shot slip ons. Deeper, less raspy tone but still nice sound. I'd recommend 'em.

I agree with everyone here, they get rid of the tinny sound and are a bit deeper and decent noise at cruise. On my dyna with shortshots I still measured 117db at six feet when revving it.

I have them with Straightshot Slipons, buddy has them on a 1200 with same pipes, and another buddy has them onthis Road King with V&H full system.

As others posted the Quiet Baffles remove the raspy/harshness, give a nice rumble, and the exhaust is far from "Quiet" at throttle.

After a season or 2 the fiberglass wrapping pretty much disintegrates and they sound a little louder. Options are to keep as-is or re-wrap or replace baffles.

I like the sound.

I had them on my 07 streetglide in Big Shots Long true duals. They sounded great and you can still set off car alarms when you want to.

Yes, they did off a bit of the raspiness.
