I'm 5'8" with a 29" inseam and am wondering how well a sundowner will fit me. Also want to know how they are for long trips.

 

Nice comfortable seat. I am 5'10 30 inseam and I'm flat footing with some bend in the knees so you should be just fine.

 

You will love it. Very comfortable and worth the money. For long trips, I have an adjustable back rest. I'm 5'8" w/ a 30" inseam and can get both feet flat on the ground on my 06 Ultra Classic.

 

i have pretty much the same dimension as you and its fine....i wouldnt go and say its the best seat ever, but much better and better for the OL

 

I'm 5'9" and have the Sundowner on my 08 SG. It should fit you just fine and the seat is great for long trips.

 

What seat is stock on the 09 ultra? I thought it was the sundowner.

 

I just put a Sundowner on my 08 FLHX, took me a few trips out to the garage to look at it before I got used to how much bigger the back end of the seat is. But after finally getting to put on over 100 miles in the saddle of my new seat and I am in love. Plus the old lady told me to tell you guys it 200 times better than the stock for her! I am 5'9" with 30" inseam and its just about the same as stock as far as height is concerned. Feels like I am pushed forward just a touch. Gonna have to adjust highway pegs a little to compensate, other than that it was the best $279 I spent! ( got it from Surdyke when they offered free shipping and I did not have to pay sales tax!)
