The curves match up perfectly to the 12" PYO bars too. Looks awesome.

Humm...$159.99 is a bit much. Still almost $130+ shipping with a 20% discount. Can get a Long Ride Ultra 6" for $79.99.

Angry Harley Davidson Wind split windshield

I purchased a new wind splitter windshield from harley davidson today 6/7/14.
I installed it today, it looked good, It is the 10" version for my 2013 street glide. When I test rode it a real problem showed up. Im 5'8" tall and I am looking right into the bend close to the top. It causes extreme distortion. the lines on the road appear to go in and out like two snakes. When looking at the oncoming traffic to the left it elongates the vehicle as if it were in your lane. Im not a sensitive kind of man but it caused me to get vertigo. Im going to ride it back to the dealer tomorrow and show them and I'm not sure what they intend to do about it. I would not recommend this windshield to any one, there dangerous.

Yep, can't recommend the Wind Splitter either. Had one on my 2010 SG. It really didn't do anything for buffeting. Went to an LRS on the SG and just put one on my 2014 Limited tonight. I can't recommend an LRS enough.

Umm, maybe try to get one that's the proper size for your height ie. shorter. You should be looking over it not through it. I'm no fan of them but to say they're dangerous because you bought one too tall for you is a little ridiculous. And you bumped up a thread over four years old ..........

you bought the wrong one. as said you are supposed to look over it.
If you want to look through a shield, drive the car.
I am 5'8" and have been using the 7" wind splitter for 4 years, a great improvement over stock. wind over the shield is over my helmet.

I just put a 7" wind splitter on my 2014 ultra last week. I took it for one ride and reinstalled my original. This windshield is useless at speeds above 50 mph. I looks nice but at 5'11", it directs the wind right by my ears and it feels like my sunglasses are getting pulled off my head. If anyone wants it, I'll sell it for a good price.

Also should have taken advantage of the demo program that most dealers have on these.
