July 1st I put my order in for 07 POE ultra. At that time there were rumors on a 6 speed but dealer couldnt say for sure. They take my deposit and say call back after the dealer convention for details on new upgrades and delivery date. I agree and call back. Dealer tells me what is new but cant say on delivery date,call back in week. Ive called back again, still dfdoesnt know. Wouldnt you think at the end of July dealer should know when it will be shipped or at least a guestimate? dealer keeps saying since it is peace officer edition they have to build it. has anyone taken delivery on one yet?

 

Yep. I picked up an '07 peace officer spcl on July 21 in Mandan ND. I kind of stumbled into it, it had been ordered previously by the dealer as a floor display. I never expected to get an 07 this soon.

 

I dont think dealers have any control on when orders will be filled,most still dont know what the next truck will have on it or colors.I thought i read somewhere that those models were experiencing delays.This yr seems faster than past yrs.Youll get the call youre waiting for.They what youre $$$$$$$$$$$.

 

Friend of mine just picked up his '07 Peace Officer Edition Road King yesterday!

 

I was told by my dealer that my FF Ultra would be in last week and I would be on the road by last Saturday. Well it is now Tuesday and still he says that it has not come in. It told me it was shipped Monday July the 24th. I think there might be something wrong here.

 

I walked into my dealer American Eagle Hd in Denton County TX. They had a 2007 Black Peace Officer ULtra and Firefighter Edition Road King and Ultra Classic. The peace officer edition was on the showroom floor and the FireFighter editions were not all the way prepped/ assembled. After the discount I got on the 2006 that already had the Vance and Hines, S/E stage 1 and alarm I went with the 2006. The special editions are there to be found, maybe you need a better dealer.

 

I made my weekly call to the dealer and now he says 2 weeks or less for delivery. thats good news. Hope he isnt pulling my chain..thanks for all the replys

 

They can tell exactly when it is shipped and then judge on delivery based on that date.
