Default Hogtune Amp?

Has any one used the Hogtune amp (2 or 4ch) with an aftermarket head unit? If so, how did/does it perform? I want to add a set of lower fairing speakers, any recommendation. Thx.

Sorry no help. I used their amp on my other bike, but it was used with the stock radio. Good luck.

I have the Hogtune's amp installed and love it.
I changed out the Hogtune's front speaker's and was satisfied with the Hogtune's amp and new speaker's with my stock HK radio.

I've run the Hogtunes amp and speakers with stock HU... moved on up the spectrum to a Hawg Wired amp and speakers with stock.... recently installed a Sony HU with my Hawg Wired and I'll be damned.... love it lol.

Here's a pic of my Hawg Wired amp sitting atop the stock HU.

And their speakers installed...

Thx for the info. I was looking at getting the Hogtune Lower Fairing speakers and amp setup to install in my lowers. I haven't seen any another lower fairing speaker setup on the market.
