Saddle bag Secure / Brukus.com
Has anyone had their saddlebags stolen or tampered with ? I got a saddlebag sucure kit from brukus.com. The replace the pin attachment on the newer Harley saddle bags. I have it on my Road King Custom. Now the theives can't cut the pins to get the saddle bags. I also have the "combi lock" that works very well. I don't have to take my bags off anymore at a motel or other stopover. The price is good and they are easy to install.

A clevis pin set-up only cost a few bucks and will do the same job......Just saying.....
Just checked the site, for $25 I can buy a lot of clevis pins and I don't need a special tool to remove them......
Yes, I'm in a cranky mood tonight..............

As far as the OP, the only way to remove the clevis pins is to open the bag lid. If they want the bags that bad, let them, that's why I have good insurance.
Only difference between clevis pins and your set up is a special allen wrench and about $22 more. I'll give you the extra security with your kit, if they can make entry into the bags but normally it's just grab and run type thefts.
Case closed on my end......Ride On.....

I agree. If they want them bad enough and they have the time and privacy they can get them anyway but the plan is to slow the thief down and the Bruckus.com product sure does that. I have the whole deal. The parts that attach the bags to the bike, the combi lock and the shield that keeps them from prying the lid from the front catch. Works for me.
Along with my Air Hawk seat cushion..they are the two best things I have purchased for comfort and security.
