Default best tail/brake light

I like the Panacea but have read it`s not that bright and don`t want any troubles. I`m going with the Badlands load EQ III unless I hear there`s better alternatives. I want to run LEDs with run-directional-brake function on the rear bullets of my `09 Roadglide.

I got mine from Custom Dynamics about 2 years ago along with the turn signals. No problems so far and it is bright. Not as bright as the BAL, but more than stock. I also modified the HD run/turn/brake controller so it's now just a turn/brake unit. It really gets attention when I hit the brake and it goes from one (fairly bright) running light to 3 bright brake lights.

I've seen 3 different Panacea lights and have not been impressed with any of them.

Brightasslights.com is what I have and I think it was money well worth spending. I don't have a comparison of another light, but its programmable, it's totally plug and play and its well built. People have commented that they know it's me when they see that bright!@# tail light.

I would be interested in that mod to the run/turn/brake to make it just turn/brake. I don't think I need any more running lights, but I want everyone behind me to know I am stopping.

If you want to mod your HD module, this is how. Worked for me, but I make no guarantees, blah blah blah....

Rewire HD module

I have these on my bike and they are reasonable. 100 led's.............http://www.ridetimetechnology.com/tail_sr.htm

Work well and they are plug and play. I also use their rear fender tip LED brake lights. That has 40 LEDs in it. also plug and play....................

Brightasslights.com and the run/turn/brake converter with red lenses from Harley. It increases visibility and brake awareness dramatically w/o really putting more light fixtures on your bike. Looks the same when parked except for the red lenses.
