Default C & C Seat question

I currently have a Mustang Solo Seat & passenger seat for my Classic, I love the confort but want to buy a C & C seat mainly for looks and pattern options, although I prefer a softer seat I rode my brothers Road King with a Corbin seat and was surprised at how comfortable a stiffer seat was, should I go with gel in the C & C seat and how comfortable is the pillon for the wife( she likes the soft Mustang) any input will be appreciated

I have the gel in my C&C seats & would'nt be without it! They say the gel may retain heat but, my bike has set out in the sun of Las Vegas & Laughlin many times & I've never had a problem!

Thanks, I have a bad back and was leaning toward the gel, Chuck at C & C said he only sells about 3% with gel, it doesn't make the seat softer as the gel is fairly hard but it does some how reduce vibration , soreness and fatique he said on longer rides

I did not get the gel in my solo seat and have been very satisfied with the seat without the gel. Have not done any really long days but have had a few 350-375 mile days with no problem.

I have a C&C sporttour in leather with no gel and have done 1000 mile days with no issues. I have a mustang seat as well and I pefer the comfort of my C&C but my wife perfers the passenger portion of the mustang over the c&c because it is roomier. If I am going solo I could do 1000 mile days back to back no problem with the leather C&C.

Get the gel. And Chuck can build you the seat you want, herd or soft.

thanks I ordered a seat, pillon , fender bib and sent him my backrest to recover today, I'm going to hang on to the Mustang and just not tell the wife, 95% of the time I ride solo anyway, she mainly just rides when I do week trips, 3 day trips she stays home, I now do more 3 day trips then week trips for that reason
