I wouldn't ride with out them (I have the HD ones). I do like the looks and you can't beat the function. I'm toying with painting them this spring, I'll post pictures if I do.

I have the HD wings and they work great. Unlike the Kury copies, they are infinitely adjustable and are a better looking, smooth surface.

The only negative that I found is that the vibrations at certain RPMs are making them rattle a little when in the closed position. This is making me think I may have to check my fairing brackets… .
There are two different types of HD wings some are like the Kury ones that are NOT infinite adjustments The new ones that are on 09 & 10 ultras are different.

They don't actually cool the air, but if you adjust them to bring the air to you instead of deflecting it away from you, you get much more air on your body and face than you do without them.

They work alot like the old wing windows that all pick up trucks used to have right in front of the main window back in the days when most pick up trucks didn't have a/c.

I bought mine mostly to get more air directed to me on hot days and found out I like them just as much for keeping air away from me on cold days. I have the HD version. I am very happy with them.

I had the adjustable Harley ones on my '07 SG, and they sound very similar to the Kury style. My '09 Ultra has the infinitely adjustable ones, and these are a hell of a lot easier to adjust when you're moving, and surprisingly, they stay put once adjusted. I like them.

Anyone have the part number or link for the HD? Specific to the SG?

Thanks.

I have a set of Freedom wings on my bike and they honestly make a world of difference, I rode this weekend 50 degrees and a cross wind and they totally blocked the wing from underneath.
