Gald you went with the Ultra, at least now you can show it to your friends. A Road Glide is like having a UGLY girlfriend, it might be fun to play with, but you don't want your friends to know and you won't take it home. (flame on)
Enjoy your new ride.

Agree. We don't need anymore RGs on the roads. More SG and Ultras is fine with me as you get lost in the crowd.

Ride safe and have fun.

Look for a low mileage used Ultra.... not gonna be cheap... and if you THINK there might be a problem getting the finance.... used is the way to go....
maybe even getting a metric until the numbers look better
+1 on what he said...It ain't for everybody but i can tell you getting off of my Electra glide Classic and test driving a RG as a very impressing improvement in handling...The only thing that was different was the lack of hand coverage but the ride and handling was really good. My next HD might just be a RG...I would put a Tour pak and a CB on it and the hand coverage well...I could live with that. The front look has grown on me.

By the time and money you get everything changed over, you could have gone out and found an Ultra Classic already the way you wanted it.

Correct!!!
After owning 3 (or 4) Ultras I turned my '09 RG into a an Ultra RG.
Lowers, Tour Pak, seat.....ect can all be pulled off the RG and put on my next ride or sold.
So I figure I won't be out all cash I put into mine.
Oh....I'm glad I did it too, the RG to me is the better bike.
