I'm looking for a forum member that may live in or around the Davenport IA area. I'm talking with a guy who is selling a bike in that area and would like some help if this sale moves forward. I just want to make sure this guy is on the up and up...any help would be appreciated and rewarded.

I appreciate it...I think this guy may be running a scam, I haven't heard anything back since I told him I wanted someone local to look over the bike before any money changed hands. If he is by chance legit I'll be in contact with you. Thanks again.

Thanks to all of you guys...I don't think I'll hear anything from this guy, once I told him I wanted to have someone look at the bike before any deal would be made...It's great to know the people from this forum look out for each other...
