I run em and like em.
Mileage is not very goos on them..but they are stickier than DUnlops (they're not prone to slide with quick stops IMHO).
02 Road King.

I've been running the 880's for years and been real happy with them. I just put a new Marathon radial on the back this weekend.

I run 880 on my 04,Like kbore said mileage is lower but tire is softer compound than Dunlop. A fair tradeoff.

I liked the metzlers. I used to run them on my honda. Like everyone said mileage ain't so good, I never got more than 11k out of mine. I've got that many on the stock dunnies, I think I'll stick with them.

Run them on her VStar 1100 and had them on my RoadStar.......probably going to be my top choice when the RKC needs new shoes.

Was talking about Metzlers yesterday.A guy was saying that he thought they were loud, tended to sing at highway speed. Anyone have that experience/observation?

Yes, the singing metzler guy also said that if you have loud pipes you will not notice the noise. He has a fairing with quiet pipes and does notice the sound. Was just wondering. Have been thinking of going to metzlers after the dunlops wear down.

Metzlers sing when you first put them on. They quiet down, though not completely, as you wear them.

I have been running Metzlers for my last 3 tire changes. One thing about the Metzler is they do take longer to wear in then any other tire I have tried. It takes about a 1000 miles before they smooth out completely.

Great tire though.
