2010 Ultra Limited Gas Mileage
Has anyone with the Limited 103 motor figured your gas mileage? I talked to a couple of owners at Bike week in Daytona and most have been getting disappointing numbers 40 or less. That has been my experience. Please post your mileage here if you've calculated it. Thanks.

It's been my experience that a properly tuned motor with more cubic inches gets less mpg than the base motor.
More power=more fuel consumption.......
I'm not sure were Harley came up with their 50mpg!
It must have been on a sportster!!

I have about 6200 on mine. Bone stock.
If I'm tooling around the backroads between 45 to 60 mph I'll get 45+ mpg.
When I am 2 up with the wife on board, I'll get about 43 or so at 65 to 70 mph.
When I ride with the guys and we are running 80 to 85, to 90 mph, I'll get around 38 mpg.

There are just too many variables concerning gas mileage. How you ride, your weight, the wind, windshield, etc. Mine varies from 35 to 42. Winds here are normally 30 knots off the Gulf. That's on a 96" RGC.

First full tank of gas was 40 mpg. I'm happy considering I'm still breaking it in. Lots of shifting and not much 6th gear.

I didn't check the first tank of gas but it looks like I got about 35mpg on my second tank of gas.

I always use 6th for cruising. I'll let it go down to 55/60 mph if it is straight and level, otherwise I'll kick it down.

You ride 55 MPH in 6th gear? Poor bike is lugging like crazy, isn't it?
