Default J&S Jack

IMHO I own a J&S Jack for my Road King Classic 2009. It does everything and more then I expected. As far as the sears jack or harbor fright jack , they are not even in the same league . Id say If you are buying a Jack for your precious ride go with the quality Jack (J&S) Or the pit bull both are great.

I use a Pit Bull, it's close to the same price as the J&S but raises higher, that was the deciding factor for me. I had an issue with it about a year after I got it, it wouldn't go to max height with the Road King on it. I called Pit Bull and they explained it was most likely air in the pump and told me how to purge/pump it out. Easy fix. Top notch jack and company. I can put various bikes on it but it seems designed for Harleys, like the J&S.
How valuable is your bike and what do you want it to be on up in the air?

Great reply, had me chuckling as I read it.

I just bought a Pitbull, but mainly because they were at the bike show and I didn't have to pay shipping. I think the J&S are good lifts too, hell, they look like a direct copy, but Clint makes some good points. Either way I don't think you can go wrong.

Just got the Eazy Rizer Lift, lifts-and-stands.com. Saw them at Daytona Bike week this week and liked it. Will be here Wednesday. Do you need it, nah. Gotta have it, priceless.

I've got to tell you I am using the Pitbull Jack and this thing is the bomb. The bike is rock solid on this thing and I can work on my bike standing up. It is money well spent for anyone serious about working on their own ride.
