Default Painting aftermarket fairings

Glenn from Woody's Fairings is in the process of making me a fairing for my 2008 RKC. Need to get it painted and was wondering about those that have done the same, what type of paint was used in the process. Having trouble finding someone that has worked with this particular color, Crimson Red Sunglow. I know there are PPG, Color Rite, and Dupont paints out there. Also does anyone know of a good painter for such a project in the Cincinnati-Dayton-Columbus, Ohio area?

They're a custom bike shop that builds and repairs bikes. Going to have them paint my fairing once I get it. Going with a woody's fairing. Below is a link to there ad on craigslist. I called and to paint the outer fairing only, with 4 coats of clear and color matched to my bike, glacier white pearl.......$275.

Thanks, I'll give them a call. If able, send pics of your painted fairing when done.

Call your dealer and ask them how does there warranty paint work. That's what I did and got very good results.

Thanks for the pics. Was the inner fairing painted a gloss black by The Breeze or is that the gelcoat? May be having them do mine also.

I just had Steve (The Breeze) paint the outer fairing only. The inner is the black gelcoat as it came from Glenn in the box. I could have gotten it painted for an additional $275, but I like the black for the inner fairing.
