What's the difference between the bagger concepts and street star lids or is the only difference goin to be the price and customer service

Yaffe pushes the bagger concepts on his site, so they must be good. The BC or Loud Lids focus the speaker directly at you, as opposed to upward. Although a 6x9 speaker is, IMO, better sounding than a 6.5, most bass noise is really lost on the highway anyways making them more of a parking lot system at their peak level. I and others have had great service from Alan recently, so I suppose it really depends on what style you like; straight up-stock profile or focused-contoured design. I doubt you could go wrong.

 

The partners apparently split up. I suggest doing extensive research before you buy anything. My experience was completely disatisfying.

 

Former partners that split. My situation was the worst customer service I ever experienced. I got my refund via bank reversed charges.

FFeric, If you are still want speakers in your lowers let me know. After dealing with Alan (to no avail) I made my own. Jaime (Alan's former partner told me how theirs were constructed, so I decided to make mine stronger. I can send a pic if you like.
