Anybody here uses fuel additives like the ones on the link below? What
do you think about using these products?

Only time I've ever used additives was on a trip to Alaska when I couldn't get premium. If any of these things were proven to work for some of the purposes they claim (like carbon deposit removal) I'd be interested - but then again I think I'd be a little worried too.

Default Seafoam

I use the Seaform additive 2 times a year to clear any water in the tank and to clean the EFI system. Really good stuff. You can even use it in the oil.

Don't see the need.

Probably work as advertised but would add about $2./ga to the price of fuel. I'm collecting alum cans as it is.

Just use a good quality fuel and you shouldn't ever need additives. Only 'additive' I use is Stabil for over winter storage.

dawg - looks like good stuff but do you feel you need it all the time? I could see it if you let a bike sit.

With prices of $10 for a 12 or 16 oz. product, you're pretty close.

I use that on a regular basis - about every other tankful and have never had any kind of problems on the 3 bikes I owned.
